34 Weeks

How far along? 34 Weeks 6 Days

Weight gain? Not sure since last appointment

Measuring at? She's only measuring the uterus right now, but I'm measuring "on time". So basically the number of centimeters it is when she measures should be the same as how many weeks I am.

Labor signs? I may have had a contraction or two, but I'm not entirely sure to be honest. It felt like the baby was starting to drop, but now it doesn't feel that way anymore (so I have no clue!)

Gender guess from mom and dad? Dad still guesses Boy, and Mom guesses Boy as well.

Sleep? It's rough, I hate getting up to go to the bathroom, and it's tough to get comfortable since my back is in so much pain. I do feel lucky though that I get to sleep during the day if I have nothing going on since I don't have kids or anything to get me out of bed usually ha!

Showing? Oh most definitely! I feel huge, especially around other pregnant people!

Best moment this week? It's been a very hectic week! Andy got Lasik done on Thursday, we cleaned and got the house ready today for my shower tomorrow! But I'm so happy that Andy could have Lasik done because it was well deserved and it benefits me too! (no more getting my hair caught in his glasses!)

Looking forward to? My shower tomorrow, and my last shower next Tuesday! Then next friday I have another appointment which will be the start of my weekly appointments! I finally feel like I'm in the home stretch, which also stresses me out since I don't feel ready...ha!

Miss anything? A normal painless back, being able to take a nap without waking up because of my acid reflux!

Cravings? Nothing really

Happy or Moody? Happy, but there were a couple moments of stress that I was a little moody.

Baby movement? Tons and tons! I'm not feeling like the baby is turning though which makes me a tiny nervous (I know we still have some time), but yeah.

Feeling prepared? Not at all. I have zero energy to get things done and I'm realizing I might just have to deal with being tired and sore for a couple weeks so I can run my errands and things before this baby comes! We finally got the crib, but don't have a mattress yet, or even a bassinet so baby right now how no where to sleep..

Anything else to report? I'm feeling a little nervous for my next appointment just because I'm not entirely sure what to expect and I'm pretty sure it's my Group B strep test. But I am very excited that from this appointment on, I will be seeing her every week until this baby is here! I'm feeling very tired and getting a little tired of being pregnant. Ready, but very nervous for the next step! I just want to hold this baby in my arms rather than in my belly (but I don't want baby to have to stay in the NICU so I'll buck it up!). I'm also getting more anxious than I have this entire pregnancy to know the gender of baby! I am wanting to know more and more what the gender is, but I can definitely wait 5 more weeks!

33 Weeks

How far along? 33 Weeks 6 Days

Weight gain? I actually lost a pound at my appointment yesterday. She said she isn't worried since my overall weight gain is normal.

Maternity Clothes? Yes! Still regular garments just bigger sizes than I normally wear.

Stretch marks? Oh most definitely...only on my lower back/tailbone area....

Sleep? So crappy..

Best moment this week? National Ice Cream Day was last sunday! It turned out great!

Miss anything? Having energy, no pain, no heartburn/acid reflux!

Cravings? Not really anything at the moment.

Any Aversions? No, pretty much most things sound good to me.

Showing? For sure...

Belly button in or out? Very much out!

Wedding ring on or off? Off, feels better that way.

Happy or Moody? Emotional is a better word!

Looking forward to? Andy getting Lasik, my final two showers, being that much closer to having this baby and finding out the gender!!

Baby Movement? Tons and tons, baby has had lots of hiccups lately too!

Anything else to report? Things went well at my appointment. I told her how I am taking Omeprozole for the acid reflux/heartburn but that it almost makes it worse. She was surprised by that since that's one of the best things I could be taking. She said I could be taking two a day instead of just one but when I did that it was the worst night sleep I had ever had, so I'll just be sticking with one a day and dealing with this for 6 more weeks! Baby is still measuring on time, though I've been told by a few people that they think I'll have a good size baby! I think I'm just big all around not just the basketball shape that makes you look big. Also, on the 22nd, Andy and I went and got our TDap Vaccine for the baby. I was such a big girl and didn't even cry! (I HATE NEEDLES...I know I know..get used to it for when baby comes..ugh.)
***Also, if you don't have your TDap Vaccine,
I strongly suggest getting it done ASAP
so you don't give my new baby whooping cough :)
We won't ask for proof but we hope that you will get it done!***

4th Annual National Ice Cream Party

We had our 4th Annual National Ice Cream Day Party!
It was another successful year!
For our party we always ask people to bring a homemade ice cream to share with everyone.

A lot of people think that making homemade ice cream is super scary/intimidating/hard/whatever other excuse - BUT it's not!!!
It's seriously so easy to make that anyone can do it!

I decided this year
(maybe should have waited until next year when I'm not so pregnant)
to change up the decorations!
I love red, white and blue - but I was feeling something a little more fun and "ice cream"ish.
Again, maybe should have waited until I wasn't pregnant to do this,
but it turned out fine and I was pleased with the way things looked!

These boys LOVE National Ice Cream Day, but then again, who doesn't?!

The Cookie/Brownie Table

We had some  yummy flavors this year, but not as many as normal.

We had:

"Jalapeno Strawberry" -McDonald's
"Vanilla" -Morgan's
"Coconut Lime" (Lactose Free) -Morgan's
"Churro Chex" -Morgan's
"Country Corn on the Cob Cream" -Christensen's
"Orange Crush" -Olsen's
"Raspberry" -Stalling's (not pictured)

The turnout was great!
Some (I might miss some people) of the people that came were:
Olsen's, Harrison's, Ostler's, Davies', Christensen's, Gma/Gpa Morgan, Gpa/Carol Stallings, Oborn's, Bruce Pitcher, Hudgen's, Dorton's, Blake's, Wadsworth's, Crawley's, Morgan's, McDonald's, Hooper's

Thanks to everyone that came and made this another successful year!
It would be just a regular sunday at the Morgan's without all the people
that bring ice cream and come enjoy the party!

ps. We missed a few people that couldn't make it!
We'll catch them next year hopefully!

How far along? 32 Weeks 6 Days

Weight gain? Not really sure

Maternity Clothes? Yes, but mostly lounge in pajamas around my house!

Stretch marks? Yes

Sleep? Getting worse and worse...our bed isn't the best any way..

Best moment this week? Having my first shower was really fun and we had a great turn out! It was my family shower with Morgan's/Stalling's. I got a lot of great things!

Miss anything? Being somewhat pain free...

Cravings? Not really craving anything, but most everything sounds good.

Any Aversions? Just the normal stuff that I have never liked, but nothing new.

Showing? Very much yes!

Belly button in or out? Out, so far out!

Wedding ring on or off? Off, I have it on a necklace that I wear around my neck instead for now.

Happy or Moody? I think mostly happy, but I tend to get emotional for a minute then I'm fine.

Looking forward to? National Ice Cream Day on Sunday!!

Baby Movement? Lots and lots!

Anything else to report? I still need to go and get the TDap Vaccine, but will do that soon, probably next week sometime.

Quick St. George Weekend Away

Last weekend, I invited myself to go with my parents down to St. George.
Vince, Katie and the boys were down there with Katie's parents.
I thought it would be a good chance for me to get one last getaway in!
It was nice to just be in the pool and relax and play games.
One of the days we were down there, we decided to go see "Glitter Mountain".
It was really cool when the sun was shining on the rocks!
Parker and Cole just loved it because they got to throw some rocks.
You can take your own tools and pick off from the mountain, or else the ground is scattered with tons of sparkly rocks to take.
This is about the only time I took pictures, and the other two pictures are stolen from Vince!
It was a nice and relaxing weekend which is just what I needed!
Can't believe that the next time we'll be in St. George, I'll have a baby!

Parker swimming (none of Cole, but they were both cute little fishies that loved jumping in the pool!)

It was so good seeing Vince especially since I hadn't seen him since they moved!
We miss them so much and cannot wait to see them again! (after the baby is here!)
It was a fun trip but I was really missing Andy since he couldn't make it due to work.

Best moment this week? 4th of July was great! Loved that Andy had work off on Friday and Saturday!

Cravings? Not really

Any Aversions? Not that I can think of

Showing? Yes for sure

Belly button in or out? Very much out!

Wedding ring on or off? Mostly off

Anything else to report? Nothing of significance, baby is measuring on time still.

McDonald Fourth of July

 Friday, July 3rd

Balloon Festival
I say it every year, but this is one of my favorite traditions!
This year was PACKED full of people, but we just attributed it to the news coverage they had the day before when the Bank of American Fork Pig Balloon crashed.
(Free advertising is what it was)
Everyone came the next day, I think hoping something like that would happen again!
Still fun even with all the people!

Gail Halverson "The Candy Bomber"
We all went to the park to see the Candy Bomber do his final drop.
If you're not sure who this guy is, you should look him up, because he has a great story!
The park was beyond packed full of people, and I don't think we've ever been so hot.
We knew going to the park that there would be no way for us to get one of the 1,000 candy bars he drops since there was probably 30,000 people there,
but we all just wanted to be there to see it all happen!
My mom had made our own candy bombs to drop from the balcony for the kids.
He did 3 fly overs, and dropped candy the last two fly overs.

Playing in the water at Grandma & Grandpa's.
To cool down after the Candy Bomber, the kids played in the water.
There are a bunch of pictures of Paige cause she was being so funny and cute! (and she lets me still)

vv Sequence of her dunking her head in the water! vv

Firework Show at Mike & Alisha's
At 8:30 we headed down the Mike's house in Spanish Fork to hang out while the cousins, Andy and Mike shot off some fireworks. It's always fun heading down there to spend time with the McDonald's for a little bit!

Saturday, July 4th

Freedom Festival 5K
My Father-in-law, ran his very first 5K and did very well!
I'm very impressed with him and all the hard work he put into accomplishing this goal he set for himself!

The Grand Parade
We rode our bikes to the 5K finish line, then rode our bikes to my great aunts house to meet my family for the parade.
I didn't take any pictures except this one at the parade, but this year was probably the best parade we've watched in a while from Provo.

Stadium of Fire
After the parade, we went home to my parents to help get things all ready for dinner at my Grandparents house.
It ended up only being Andy, me, my parents, grandparents, Phill, Reese and Casey up at their house to watch Stadium of Fire.
We ate way too much yummy food, and even more yummy homemade ice cream!
It was tough for me to sit through the fireworks because I felt so uncomfortable
(may have been having a couple braxton hicks),
but it was still so fun and enjoyable to be out on the deck watching the fireworks from Payson to Lehi!
I cannot adequately describe how amazing it is up at my Grandparents house watching fireworks.
I love it so much!
I only got a few pictures of the fly overs, then Andy took a couple long exposure pictures of the fireworks before my camera died..

We had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend.
It's probably been our best one yet since being married!
Can't believe that next year we'll have a 10 month old baby!
