Easter Sunday

I'll probably say it every holiday, and probably as Hazel gets older I'll say it's even better, but
holidays with kids are so much more fun!
Since Easter landed the day after my birthday, I of course requested (which she as probably going to do any way), Lamb for dinner!
The perfect birthday/Easter Sunday dinner!
My grandparents Morgan came, as well as my Uncle David, Great Aunt Lana, my parents neighbor Bill, Phill/Leslie (&kids), my parents and us - were all the people at dinner.
Before dinner we had the annual Easter Egg hunt that Grandma & Grandpa do in their backyard.

Sitting on grass for the first time..not the biggest fan (or it was naptime..either or)

Annual Easter Picture...
Totally missing Parker & Cole, which makes us all sad!

But it was still a wonderful Easter Sunday!

(if only I showed you all the group picture outtakes...
let's just say I may have had to edit this picture a bit)

Six Months - Hazel

Loves:
-Daddy
-Playing on the floor
-Peek a boo
-Her doggies (especially Atlas - Belle just ignores her)

Hates:
-Fruits (starting to grow on her if mixed with other things
-Burping
-Pooping
Really not much!

Favorites:
-Butternut Squash
-Mango, Carrot & Banana (mixed)
-MAM Binky
-Bamboo swaddles

Milestones:
-She's eating more veggies this month! We started feeding her oatmeal in the morning and veggies/fruit in the evening! We also have tried giving her puffs and yogurt bites. They are growing on her. As long as we break them into smaller bites.
-She's getting so close to crawling. She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth.
-Officially crawling (or scooting)! 3/22/16

Clothes:
0-3M still but they are getting smaller. Some pants are finally fitting her of the 3 month though (why are baby clothes not made equal?!). She's still in 6M dresses.

Diapers:
Size 2! We are using up our Luvs right now because they are a little smaller than Pampers. So hopefully when we are out of Luvs the Pampers will fit better.

Things to remember:
-Without crawling she's still very efficient at getting to where she wants to go, it just takes her longer cause she slides and rolls.
-If she is crying and can't be soothed with nursing, or laying in her crib with her binky and blankie then something is wrong because she rarely cries for no reason.
-She's so happy all the time. We really lucked out and feel so blessed to have a baby that sleeps so great!
-Every night we diffuse in her room DoTerra; Juniper Berry and Serenity (helps her sleep so much).
-Sometimes she'll just make me laugh really hard while I'm feeding her. She does the quirkiest things like try to attack me, play with her toes, swing her arm around while eating, and grab my hand push it to her foot then kick my hand away.
-She's laughing lots more. She's always laughed a little but now we can get her to laugh for longer.
-She's getting good at sitting. She can't get back to her bum after she has fallen to her belly or back though.

Doctor Appointments/Other Info:
At her 6 month appointment, Dr. Alba talked about how she's still on the smaller side, but doing okay right now. Keep feeding her food, in the next few months she'll be able to eat off our plates. She has a rash on her belly that we asked about and he said that it just looks like dry skin and to just keep trying lotions that will work for her sensitive skin.
