Happy Christmas

|| Christmas Eve's Eve ||

This is the day that Andy and I celebrate with just us,
and when we have a family it will be our "Christmas Eve".
It's actually the day that Andy proposed to me too, so it is a special night for us anyway!

Andy brought me these pretty flowers to work to start our night off right!

Our tradition is to open a game and a movie to watch/play that night!
This year was Rummikub and we didn't really get a movie so we watched Serendipity.

|| Christmas Eve (McDonald's) ||

All the family came over to the McDonald's around 3:00 on Christmas Eve.
We had some pizza, watched a Mormon Video then we opened gifts, starting with the youngest.
I love watching all the kids open presents and get really excited about the things the received!

|| Christmas Eve (Morgan's) ||

We headed over to the Morgan's right after
we opened our present for the annual Christmas Eve Rib Dinner.
When dinner was over, we split off and did our own things for a few hours.
When we all gathered back to Mom & Dad's we opened a game and played all night.
We played Tenzi w/ the 77 Ways to Play Tenzi Cards.
Andy had his GoPro and we connected it to the light above the table and recorded us playing Tenzi.
Here is a picture of us at the end of the game!

We then set up our Wii U and played Super Smash Bros with 8 players.
Then we all went to bed to wake up for Christmas Day!

|| Christmas Day ||

Once we all woke up and were ready, we walked the kids into the living room to see all the presents!
Santa came to Grandma & Grandpa's house this year, so the kids saw all their Santa presents too.
My parents set up their train around the tree and the kids laid down by it and watched it go around and around for a few minutes until we pried them away!

My dad gave a talk to us about the upcoming year and how we need to focus our lives on Service.
It's been a great holiday season full of service and
he encouraged us to continue that service into 2015.

After Christmas morning breakfast, we got ready stopped and visited my Grandma
and then went up to Salt Lake to visit Grandpa Stallings.
He read The Christmas Story to us all while we sang carols in between.
It was a great reminder of why we celebrate this time of year!

When Andy and I got home from Salt Lake we came back home to be with his parents the rest of the night.
We turned on a movie, Non Stop, to watch with them.
It turned out to be one of the best Christmases to date!
Lots to remember and be grateful for.

Happy Christmas to all!
Hope you had a fabulous Christmas as well!

Grandkid Sleepover

My parents had their annual Grandkids sleepover.
My mom took pictures of the night before and morning, but these are from the cookie decorating.
It's one of my favorite Christmas traditions to do so I will never miss!
The kids are so funny while decorating cookies, I just love it!

Paige just loved putting frosting on her one cookie then eating it all of the top!

And Parker thought that was pretty funny of Paige!
Parker kept calling the cookies, donuts because they had frosting and sprinkles!

Ryan loved when Grandpa would help him!

Kendrick loved to watch me do a cookie, then he'd try to replicate my cookie.
He's getting so old! He can decorate basically by himself!

The finished cookies!
