My First Business Trip

This last week Andy and I had the chance
(more like, I had the chance, Andy had to go)
to go to New Orleans, LA.

It was a business trip for Andy but I got to tag along which was nice!
He works for a company called Brainhoney, and they have a mascot that is a huge bumble bee.
Last minute his bosses decided they wanted it at the conference, but since it was last minute no company would ship it on time....so we got to wrap it up really tight and check it on the plane with us. We got some of the weirdest looks with that thing!

We saw the guys putting it on the plane before we boarded in SLC.

I LOVE sitting by the window in planes so much!
I love seeing down below, the shadows, the cities, the clouds!
Each place we went over was so different but so interesting.

Atlanta, GA was our lay over, it was all very green and pretty!

As we were landing you could look out and see our shadow!
I got a lot of pictures of it...haha!

Before we were taking off again, the plane in front of us was the Colts football team!
We thought that was pretty cool!

Goodbye Georgia!

 Welcome to New Orleans!

The cemeteries there are crazy,
they all are the walk in graves instead of the headstones like here!

French Quarters

This was the hotel that the conference was at, but we stayed in a different one.

Us at the top of the conference hotel, Hyatt Regency.

32 floors in the place, and this picture was taken at the 19 floor.

The Superdome was right outside the window!

Looking down at the restaurant down below.

The elevators were kind of crazy here, they were glass elevators so you could see out of them.
We got in one and road it up and down and it goes super fast!

This is our hotel, it was very pretty, very old, and apparently haunted!
We didn't see or feel a presence of a ghost, but that doesn't mean I wasn't freaked out!

Bathroom sink

The roof, where the pool was.
We were obviously not the tallest hotel, but it was still very nice!

Main lobby

One of the nights there, Andy's bosses wanted to go with us to Bourbon Street.
I've seen many times on TV and movies "Bourbon Street"
so I wasn't too shocked on how gross and evil it was.
We only walked about 1/3 of the way down it before we just turned around
because there was no point to keep going.

I didn't feel safe pulling my camera or phone out to take pictures in the city...
so that's why there is only 1 picture!

Goodbye New Orleans...forever!

Hello SLC, UT!

In summary of our trip..
I'm so happy I got to be with Andy while he was over there,
because his last business trip was rough for me.
BUT I never want to go back to New Orleans EVER again.
GROSS!
