Memorial Day

Burley, ID

This is where my Great Grandma/Grandpa Stallings,
as well as my great great grandma Dorcas,
and great uncle/aunt Donald & Beatrice, are buried.

Hazel Bailey is who I am named after!
It was so fun to be able to stop here on our way home from the wedding trip.
It's not often that we can get up there on Memorial Day.

Cole overload...but seriously...could you die at how squishy and cute he is?!

Franklin, ID
Andy and I took a tiny detour on our way home too and stopped in Franklin
so we could see Andy's Grandma Nash's grave.
Andy loves his grandma more than I can begin to describe.
It's the most amazing thing to see him talk about her.
She was the first person in Andy's family that I met, and I'm so grateful I did,
since she passed away shortly after we got married.

Tacoma/Portland Wedding Week Part 2

Tuesday, May 20 || Seattle Temple
Lucy decided to go through the Seattle Temple for her first time through, so we all made the drive
(45 minutes about), up to Seattle to be with her on that special day.
It was a beautiful day, and I was so happy to be there to support Lucy!

We went to The Cheesecake Factory, with Lucy's parents after the temple.

After I left my necklace in the temple locker room and had to go back to get it...
we finally made our way to downtown Seattle.
We headed straight for Pike's Place Market.
It was just lovely, I loved it!

Wednesday, May 21 || Golfing/Seattle...again.
My uncles, Reed & Alan came down to go golfing w/ Chase and my dad at Chamber's Bay.
So my mom, me, and my aunts, Terri & Kathy headed up to Seattle
since they had never been before either!
Unfortunately we ran out of time before we had to be back to pick up the guys, so we pretty much did the exact same thing as Tuesday, but with different people haha!

From Seattle, we went and picked everyone up and headed down to Portland, OR
for our next leg of the trip.
Later this night (3:00am actually), we picked Andy up from the airport in Portland,
after a 3 hour delay...

Thursday, May 22 || The Wedding
We were much too tired to do anything this day, so we just rested and then got ready for the wedding while everyone that morning went to the zoo.
Unfortunately, only a couple iPhone pictures of the wedding stuff because I figured I could get professional pictures later on.

After the sealing, there was a dinner down the street that was nice and relaxing.

After the dinner and we sent Chase and Lucy on their way, we all celebrated their wedding by going to a very yummy ice cream place in downtown Portland.
Salt & Straw
I recommend it to everyone! Different types of ice cream, but so yummy!
We all got some ice cream and then walked the streets a little bit.

Friday, May 23 || Site seeing in Portland
We woke up on Friday and headed out to explore Portland.
First stop was the OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry).
Then we got some food at the food trucks they have covering an entire block.
Finishing off with a trip to Powell's Bookstore...also covering an entire block!

|| Walking to the bookstore, we had a couple things happen...
1st - Some random guy walked up to us and said, "Surviving the E. Coli plague?" We had no idea what he was talking about until later that evening when we found out that we cannot drink, brush our teeth, or even wash our hands with the water in Portland....
2nd - I had a bird poop on my hand/head! Luckily (?) I was wearing a hat, so i just washed my hat off! EW! ||

**I love each of my nieces and nephews equally, but I was with Ryan, Parker and Cole
majority of the museum, hence all the pictures of them!**

Saturday, May 24 || Last Day in Portland/Reception
On the last day in Portland, we checked out of the hotel and
decided to ride the Tram before heading up to Tacoma again.
It was only, V & K, my parents, grandparents and us that went this time.

accident picture, but I love it!

 Reception
(from my iPhone)

We all walked down to the park down the street to light off Lanterns.
I didn't get a picture of the lanterns because I helped light them all.
Sunday, May 25 || Packed up, drove to Boise
No pictures!

Monday, May 26 || Boise > Franklin > Provo > Home
Before heading out of Boise, we were told we HAD to go to Goldy's for breakfast.
It didn't disappoint, it was very good!
The potatoes were the best part (I thought)!
