Our Very First Christmas Tree

I never in a million years thought that I would EVER get a real tree!
I've never been a fan of the "pine" smell.
But for some reason this year we thought it'd be a great idea.
I seriously couldn't be happier!
The smell of a real tree is one hundred times different than the candles!
It was so fun to go to the tree lot and pick out the "one".
Then tie it to the top of our car and drive home to set it up in our house!

Picking up the tree and pre-decorating!

I'll post more pictures of our Christmas Decor later!
Enjoy these for now!

Happy Christmas Everyone!

Thanksgiving Day

This year for Thanksgiving was McDonald's year.

We got ready for the day, cleaned up the house and enjoyed each others company
Thanksgiving morning while watching The Holiday.

Around 1:00 we headed up to help get things ready for dinner/lunch!
McDonald's tradition is to go to a movie on Thanksgiving.
The movie was Disney's Frozen and it started at 5:15pm so we ate around 2:30pm.

It was a fun day spending it with some/not all of the family!
Mike & Alisha and the kids, Melanie, Justin and Kelly & Beverly.
Heather & Jarom and the kids joined us at the movie!

This was the only "family picture" we got on Thanksgiving.
Pre-Dinner cuddles!

Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner

My parents had everyone over the sunday before Thanksgiving
for a Pre-Thanksgiving dinner since it's their off year.
While we were waiting for everyone to come and the dinner to be ready, the older boys and I went outside and had a mini photoshoot!

The only table in my parents house that fits everyone is the ping-pong table in the basement.
So we decked it out in decor and my mom/grandma Barbara's china and silver utensils.

Uncle Chase isn't around when Andy and I are there too, so I had to take a few pictures of him with some of the kids.

Thanksgiving dinner wouldn't be a Thanksgiving dinner with the Morgan's without...
SLUSH!
Frozen fruit/juice mixer smashed up with Sprite poured on top!
It's only a tradition that is eaten on Thanksgiving thru New Years Day..
It feels weird to eat it any other time of the year!

We can't wait to spend Thanksgiving with the McDonald's!
We'll be eating dinner then going to see the movie Frozen!

Happy Pre-Thanksgiving everyone!

Christmas Pictures 2013

A month or so ago we decided it'd be a good decision to find a new home for our baby bunny Pearl.
We put her picture on facebook/instagram and my sister in law reposted it for us.
Hollie contacted us and wanted to take Pearl.
She already had a bunny named Smokey and she was so excited to take Pearl.
Instead of payment for Pearl, she offered us a Photo-shoot since she is a Photographer.
Of course I said yes because it never hurts to have pictures of your family
(even if it is just us two).
Pictures were beyond stressful for me.
They always are..
What to wear and the anticipation if they will turn out is killer.
Not because of the photographer, but because of our faces!
I never know if it'll be a good day for my hair/face haha!
Well they turned out amazing!
They weather cleared up just in time to have crazy clouds and a little bit of sunlight peeking through.
We took pictures up at Suncrest...GORGEOUS!

We can't thank Hollie Hanson enough for these gorgeous pictures.
And for taking our precious baby bun!
Thanks again Hollie!

Enjoy her amazing photos!
