UPDATE: Andy's Broken Elbow

Today we went in for Andy's post OP appointment.
First they came in and removed the splint and exposed the incision.

After it was all uncovered they took him in for an x-ray.

Dr. Widmer came in and talked to us for a little bit.
He explained what to expect for the next little bit, asked Andy how the pain was, etc.
It was really good to talk to him.
After he left, they cut off the suture tails and taped it back up.

They took us after to the Physical Therapy section to have him fitted for the brace and to start his physical therapy exercises.
He will be going down to Provo for physical therapy since that's where we live, rather than drive up to Murray all the time for it.
The guy who did the pt for Andy's right wrist is the same guy that will help him on his elbow.
Luckily, he got put in a brace, so he has lots of motion in his arm.
Plus he can take it off and on for showers, etc.
He's supposed to leave it on basically always, unless he's relaxing somewhere like home.
He's definitely supposed to wear it sleeping as well too.
Right off the bat, she has him locked at a 30 so that when he can start straightening his arm to there with no problem we will drop that number to a 20.
He has somewhat good range of motion right now but definitely lacking still so it'll be so good to get working on it right away!

My favorite part of the whole thing was Andy telling everyone he talked to,
"I look like the guy off of Mortal Combat!"

Love this hunk of mine, and glad he is on the road to recovery :)

Family Bowling for Parker's Birthday

For Parker's Birthday,
Vince and Katie invited everyone to Fat Cats for bowling and dinner.
It was a lot of fun being with the whole fam + John & Nancy Crawley.
Lots of pictures taken, and lots of fun had!
Plus, I bowled a Turkey on my second to last turn and last turn combined!

Paige loves to pretend she's "dead".

Love being with family and celebrating Parker by doing one of his favorite things...Bowling!
