3 Year Anniversary - St. George Weekend

This trip was a great trip for us.
People ask what we did on our trip, and honestly we did nothing that we wouldn't have normally done here, but just getting away the two of us was so much fun.
This was the first trip we've ever been on that we didn't fight the night before
(mostly me being stressed and him feeling overwhelmed with getting work done).
It was amazing, we left later than we had planned but we still were both happy as can be.

We had decided to take a couple detours to get to St. George.
We went through Nephi to Manti to see the Manti temple.
I'm always amazed when I see this temple, it's so gorgeous.
I wished we had had time to do a quick session or to really look around - next time!

We really wanted to stop at Bryce Canyon on the way down, but as we were driving from Manti to there it began to downpour! So we thought that it might be more worth it to hit up Bryce Canyon another trip. Maybe even stay there for a camping trip or something!

Friday we spent the day out and about, shopping
and just enjoying each others company with no distractions!
We went to Sub Zero which was very yummy!
Haven't been there in a long time!

Saturday was the day we chose to be our temple day.
It's been a while since we have been to the temple together, so it was an incredible day for both of us.
I felt the spirit so strongly sitting in the Sealing Room that we got married in 3 years ago.
Plus, being pregnant and doing a session in the temple was pretty amazing!
Overload of temple pictures!
It was such a beautiful day, tons of weddings!

I also learned that people are pretty horrible at taking pictures...

I truly love spending time with Andy.
He can always make me laugh so hard about the silliest things.
I love being his biggest fan!

It was such a needed trip for us to get-a-way for a weekend
and have nothing to worry about for a few days.
I'm so excited to have Andy as my partner for this parenting thing we'll be doing soon.
Thanks to Andy's parents for watching our fur babies this weekend, we appreciate it so much!

Until next time St. George - and hopefully next time you'll be a little warmer for us!

ps. Everyone needs to get the app Phhhoto - it's amazing and so fun!
Plus, my sister-in-law said it best
"it's new still so there is no such thing as "overload" and all those things!"
Get it!
(It's how those pictures are moving!)
