Huntsman Senior Games - Softball Trip to St. George

Tuesday Night we (my parents and I),
loaded up the car and headed down to Saint George for the week/weekend.
It was the perfect time for us to go down and have a weekend away.
We stayed at our house "The Legacy".

The reason for the trip down in the first place was for
The Huntsman Senior Games that my dad was playing Softball in for 2 different teams.
The 50 year and older team.
And the 55 year and older team.
The first day we were there, he played 4 games.
My Grandparents Morgan were down there the week before watching my Uncle John play his softball games, and they stayed to watch my dad too.

Vince and Katie had come down Thursday Night with John & Nancy to just hang out,
so they came to a couple games as well.

Lots of time at the ball park, and eating is what happened on this trip!
So fun to have everyone down there.
My Aunt and Uncle Alan & Katherine came down Thursday too to play golf.

In total, my dad played 11 games in 4 days!
That's a lot of Softball, especially for these guys that are all 50 and older!
Unfortunately the 50 year and older team got out pretty fast. (We actually weren't too sad...)
But the 55 year and older team did great! They were a lot of fun to watch!

They lost their game on Saturday which landed them with Bronze for the AAA Division!
They did great all weekend, I was very impressed!

My dad  joined this team a few years ago because of these two guys.
Dad, Jeff Hummel, Todd Douglas
They all served a mission to Alaska and were mission buddies!
It was nice to get to know these guys and their wives!

It really was such a fun time spending the week with my parents and watching my dad play softball.
Nothing beats spending the day at a ball park!
Andy unfortunately had to work, so he wasn't able to come.
If my dad plays again next year, I will be sure to make this something that we do!

Thanks for letting me tag along, Mom and Dad!

Love, B
