Morgan Sibling Trip

"Leave your troubles in Paragonah,
you can pick them up when are headed home if you really want to"
-Rex Stallings

---

Andy and  I left to head down to St. George Monday afternoon.
We had a stressful time getting ready to leave for the trip down,
so listening to my wise Grandpa Rex,
we decided to make a stop in Paragonah to leave our troubles.
It was much needed.
I know it's just figurative but I feel like the thought of leaving our troubles
really did make the trip that much better, for everyone!

We also made a detour to Dixie Rock on our way to the house we were staying at for the week.
Neither one of us have been there so it was the perfect opportunity to go.
It was really windy which may have helped with the lack of people there.
We had a blast exploring for a little bit, and taking a few pictures for fun!

The next morning we all looked at the forecast and noticed that there would be a rainstorm coming in, so our first plan of going to Toquerville Falls was quickly changed to
Zion's National Park to hike Angel's Landing.
We all decided to do something that would conquer fears.
And boy was it a difficult thing that we all conquered!
Granted we didn't finish the hike, but we made it as far as we could before we all made the executive decision that due to the downpour of rain, it wouldn't be as safe as we'd love for it to be.
So we turned around,
BUT we did make it 1/3 of the way through the chains (which is the hardest part).

We made it back barely in time to get ready and get to Tuacahn for our first play of the week.
First up, Little Mermaid!
The last time it came, it was the talk of the town.
It was a huge hit, and we were all way sad we didn't get to see it!
So there is no way we'd miss it this time.
It was great and very well done!

The next day, the boys woke up bright and early and headed out to go golfing.
The girls slept in, then woke up to play card games.
The rest of the day, we all just hung out, played in the pool and had a great time.
Andy's parents came down the same week to see the three plays as well, so around dinner time, Andy and I met up with them at a restaurant called Anasazi.
Then we headed to the second play of the week.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
It's one of my favorite plays, but I was a little disappointed with the way Tuacahn put it on.
I wish they had used water, or even the amazing backdrop they have.

Day 3 was much better weather than the two days before
so we jumped at going to Toquerville Falls.
We had a great day playing in the falls, and the pool at the bottom.

After Toquerville, we again got ready for the last play.
The Wizard of Oz
It was amazing but super long.
I loved it, but after 3 longs days and late nights, it was tough staying awake.
But like I said, it was AMAZING.

The next day, we took another rest day per say.
We swam in the pool and played lots of games.
Late that night, Chase and Lucy had brought down Floating Lanterns,
so we went out back and lit them off.

All in all, we had a fantastic week.
We all couldn't have asked for a better week.
I feel like I have bonded with my siblings a lot more than I already thought I was bonded.
Hopefully this turns into an annual thing.
Especially with Vince and Katie moving away for 5 years, it'd be nice to have a reason to spend a week together once a year.
Hopefully we can all pull it off!

Love my siblings so much!
