New Year's Resolutions 2014

New Year's Resolutions are cheesy, but I love them!
I love to document the things that I truly want to be better at, and the things that I'm working on.
It's fun to look back on the old resolutions you thought you were going to commit to,
to see if you really did!

Andy and I have been talking in passing about our "goals" for this upcoming year.
What we would like to see happen with our little tiny family.
Things we want to be better at, etc.
A good amount of my goals and resolutions will be documented in my private journal,
but I would like to still share some of them with you guys here!

Feel free to fill out this as well!

A bad habit I'm going to try break:
Swearing.
It's a horribly gross thing,
but for some reason my past of swearing all the time hasn't fully left me yet.
So here's to trying to break that!

A new skill I'd like to learn:
I posted on Instagram about it,
but Andy and I found this new app--DuoLingo--that we LOVE!
So for "a new skill I'd like to learn", I think I will keep learning Italian!

A person I hope to be more like:
I have two.
Christ. That is our whole purpose on this earth right? To become more like Christ. Bottom line.
Andy. (Cheesy yes, but I'm being dead serious). This husband of mine has the best optimistic personality. He is so kind hearted, he's funny, loves to help people in need, selfless,
always willing to learn something new, and he wants to change the world
(and knows he can do it--optimism people, it's amazing).

A good deed I'm going to do:
I would like to this year, look out for more ways to serve.
To do more good deeds in general.

A place I'd like to visit:
I've been before, but I want to take Andy back east.
I want to completely do my senior trip again but with him, and maybe even add a little more.
Mostly Chicago!

A book I'd like to read:
Honestly, any book.
I just want to finish one of the 5 books I'm reading right now, or better yet, finish all 5 of them.

A letter I'm going to write:
I've always thought it would be fun to write letters to people you haven't met (yet).
Such as, grandparents who have passed prior to you meeting them on earth, your unborn children, or even you in the past or future.

A new food I'd like to try:
I don't really have any specifics in this category.
So maybe just to try new food in general.

I'm going to do better at:
My morning five.
Exercising.
Eating healthy.
Showing my love for everyone.
Being a wife.
