Andy and I had our own "Christmas Eve" the day before Christmas Eve.
We exchanged stockings and Andy gave me my presents.
He found out about his present a week before...so that was sort of lame haha!
Christmas Eve, we headed over to the McDonald's for the family gift exchange.
Christmas Eve is the big day we all get together, we don't really see anyone on Christmas Day.
They start youngest to oldest of opening presents.
I'm the youngest of the siblings, so I get to open presents right after the oldest (twins) grandkids.
Luckily, Andy is next after me so we generally open our gifts at the same time.
Less awkward for me that way!
We left a little early so that we could make it over to my parents for dinner.
My parents have a big rib dinner every Christmas Eve, then all the kids sleepover and play games all night.
I bought about 60 candy bars to play the candy bar game.
You roll the dice and depending on what number you roll, you have a to do something with your candy.
It was a hit and I think we'll be doing it again next year, since Chase missed it this time.
Maybe next year I'll do a little bit less candy bars, we'll see!
Christmas Morning
We all slowly wake up and meet in the living room to open presents.
Again, we do youngest to oldest in this family as well.
After we open presents at my parents, we eat breakfast and
get ready to head up to Salt Lake to visit my Grandpa & Carol.
My grandpa always has a "lecture" that he gives everyone, and we all get so excited to hear him.
He's truly an amazing man.
I feel blessed to call him my Grandpa!
Instead of going up to my Grandma/Grandpa Morgan's house, we head over to the McDonald's again to visit for a little bit.
They had a present for Belle that we opened.
She loved her huge bone and toys!
We had a great Christmas!
We can't wait for next year!
Christmas comes and goes too fast...
