Lagoon Day

We thought it would be fun again this year, like we did last year, to go to Lagoon.
This year it was,
Mike, Brooklyn, Camden, Easton, Andy and I.
We had a blast going on a lot of the rides.
I was so impressed with Brooklyn because she went on pretty much every single ride that she was tall enough to go on...even Wicked!
We had a lot of fun, but we also realized we aren't as young as we used to be...so we headed home around 7:30pm.

Thanks to Kelly & Bev for helping
us to be able to go with the kids!
We had so much fun!

Exciting, but scary news!

*UPDATE: SOLD*

For the last, 3 or 4 months we have lightly talked about our feelings on moving.

We both...
-knew we needed to be in Provo since we are both in Provo every day any way.
-felt like it'd be a good time to start looking up in the Provo area.
-also felt like we could be a little more picky this time (i.e, we want live in the Edgemont area), since we were (are) "content" living where we were (are), so there wasn't necessarily a rush.

We LOVE Spanish Fork.
We love our ward, we love our neighbors and we love this area.
We moved down here because of the price.
(definitely cheaper to live in Spanish Fork than Provo)

We feel very strong about the decision to be back in Provo after a year+ of living south.

As we started looking, I told a bunch of people including the Bishop,
from my parents ward about how we would love to be back in that area.
I asked them to keep their eyes and ears open for any houses that open up
or people that are thinking about selling.

We were told about a house a couple streets over from my parents house
that was going to be for sale in the next few months.
So I jumped on it and made some calls to people that would know what was going on about it,
or that could at least find out more info on it than I could.

Andy and I realized after, that if this all works out, it's going to be lightning speed of a deal.
This family wants to sell really soon, and there are a couple other people looking at it too.

Andy and I have put our trust in The Lord on this.
It's a scary thing because we will need to sell our house sooner than they are selling theirs.
And once we sell our house, pray so hard that they accept our offer
and not someone else's so that we aren't homeless....

We are asking that any and everyone pray for us in this time.
We could use all the prayers we can get.
We feel strongly about this house and this area to live in, but there is still so much in the air.

As well as prayers, we'd love it if you wouldn't mind sharing our listing to get the word out.

I can't help but feel so blessed with the place Andy and I are at in our lives.
We are thankful for all our friends and family that have helped us get where we are today.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

24th of July

This year for the 24th of July, we decided to head down to Spanish Fork main street to watch the parade with the rest of Andy's family.
I'm so happy we did, because it was a much better parade than Provo's.

After the parade we had our annual BBQ up the canyon in honor of Matthew.
It's one of my favorite things we do during the summer.

Baby Peyton gets lots of lovin from everyone!

We all went after the BBQ to the cemetery to visit Matthew's grave.
Unfortunately (but lets get real she's adorable, so not really unfortunately),
I didn't get any other pictures there except for these two.

On our drive down the street to Heather & Jarom's house for the fireworks, the sunset was breathtaking.

Camden had set up a projector screen outside for us to have a Mario Kart tournament, complete with a bracket and everything.
It was a blast, and to avoid fights, everyone was required to play, even Nana!

Their neighbors probably spent a good $1,000 on fireworks,
because we kept thinking that these were the ones for the Rodeo, but they weren't!

Happy 24th of July everyone!
One of my favorite holidays!

3rd Annual National Ice Cream Party

3rd Annual National Ice Cream Party!
We celebrated a week early again this year, for the reason that we don't want to have conflicting events over the 24th of July.
We like to keep it around the 13th-15th.

This years ice cream flavors:
Vanilla, Root Beer, Candied Bacon, Nutty Pina Colada, Strawberry Peach, Snicker-doodle, Rocky Road, Strawberry, Chocolate Mocha, Zesty Lemon, Watermelon Sherbet (not pictured).

All the flavors were so yummy, but I do believe that Snicker-doodle was the winning flavor this year. It had chunks of Snicker-doodle cookie in it! MMmmm!

We cannot wait until next year!
Again, thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us!
