Midway Creche Exhibit

We headed up to Midway for the Creche Exhibit this evening.

It's a fun thing we do almost every year.

At the exhibit, they have coloring for the kids, and a nativity dress up for he kids.

As well as a ton of different nativities. 

Festival of Trees

Yesterday, we went to the Festival of Trees with my parents.

Usually my Grandparents Morgan, go with my parents, but due to the scary weather outside, they decided to stay home and we used their tickets instead.

They all have tickets for the VIP night where the auction goes on.

Kids are not allowed and it's a lot less chaotic.

Still a lot of people, but a lot less strollers!

I had not been to the Festival of Trees since I used to dance at it.

That's been probably 8-9 years ago!

It was fun to go and see all the crazy and very pretty trees.

We had a fabulous time!

Our feet were tired, but a lot of fun seeing all the different things up there!

Welcome to Christmas at the McDonald's!

Starting December festivities off with our decorations.

I've been dying for this time of the year!

I love to decorate for Christmas, and it's just that much more fun when it's your own house!

I bought clear plastic ornaments and painted them for our ornaments.

Loved being able to pick my own colors!

All of my ornaments are plastic, no broken ornaments in this house!

We bought these ornaments on our honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas.

Except for a couple ornaments on the top that are vintage looking glass ones.

Friend Christmas Party

We missed the chance to have our "Friendsgiving", so we decided to do a Christmas Party instead!
Having it be the weekend after thanksgiving, not everyone could come but it was fun regardless!
We ate dinner, had a white elephant exchange, and then played a couple rounds of a game.
